Broncos injury report: Talanoa Hufanga, Brandon Jones and Eyioma Uwazurike statuses - Broncos Wire
The Denver Broncos returned to practice on Wednesday as they begin on-field preparations for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
Denver safeties Talanoa Hufanga (ankle) and Brandon Jones (hamstring), as well as defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike (shoulder) and cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine (ankle), did not practice.
Hufanga has missed the team's last three games. Jones suffered a hamstring injury in practice last Thursday but was cleared to play in Sunday's game. He then aggravated the injury during a 28-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Uwazurike and KAD also went down with injuries on Sunday.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Pat Bryant (ankle) returned to practice, opening his 21-day window to be activated from injured reserve. If Bryant is not activated within the next three weeks, he will spend the rest of the season on IR.
Elsewhere on the injury report, defensive lineman Zach Allen (rest) and wide receiver Courtland Sutton (rest) were limited while receivers Jaylen Waddle (chest) and Bryant (ankle) were full participants on Wednesday.
Denver's scheduled to practice again on Thursday and Friday before releasing a final injury report with game statuses for Sunday's showdown with the Panthers.
