Police have charged a 16-year-old boy and two men with murder over the mistaken-identity shooting of a university student in Sydney's south-west earlier this month.
Marco Tapia, 23, was shot dead at a Glen Alpine home during a home invasion.
Mr Tapia was only known to police for a traffic offence and detectives have since confirmed the wrong house was targeted.

Emergency services were called to the Glen Alpine home about 3:40am on September 1 following reports of a home invasion.
NSW Police found Marco Tapia, 23, inside with a gunshot wound.
Officers were told at the time three unknown offenders had fled the scene before they arrived.
Mr Tapia was only known to police for a traffic offence and detectives have since confirmed the wrong house was targeted.

About 9am on Tuesday, State Crime Command's Homicide Squad officers under Strike Force Gareno arrested a 16-year-old boy and two men, aged 22 and 23, in Junee in the state's Riverina region.
They were taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station and charged with murder, two counts of special aggravated break and enter and the serious indictable offence of possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm.
Police will allege the three males, including one allegedly armed with a pistol, entered the home and confronted Mr Tapia, before he was fatally shot.
All three were remanded in custody, with the two men set to appear at bail court today.
The 16-year-old will appear at a children's court today.
Two other teenage boys have also been charged with offences.
NSW Police is expected to hold a press conference at 10am.
Less than 48 hours later, tradie Joshua Macdonald died after being shot at a Merrylands West home in what police described as another mistaken-identity shooting.
