A donor giving blood at a camp jointly organised by the Indian Red Cross Society and the AP Paper Merchants Welfare Association as part of the Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Sastry Jayanti celebrations, in Vijayawada on Friday.
The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and the Andhra Pradesh Paper Merchants Welfare Association organised a blood donation camp at AP NGOs Home in Gandhi Nagar, Vijayawada, on Friday as part of the Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Sastry Jayanti celebrations.
AP NGO president A. Vidyasagar, IRCS district vice-chairman Velaga Joshi, secretary E. Chitti Babu and Andhra Pradesh Paper Merchants Welfare Association president Y. Lakshmikantha Rao inaugurated the camp.
They garlanded the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Sastry and paid floral tributes to them. Mr. Vidyasagar and association secretary Mafat Lal Jain appreciated the blood donors for their contribution.
