The Therapeutic Goods Administration has signed off on a daily Wegovy pill made by Danish pharmaceuticals giant Novo Nordisk.
It's the first GLP1 weight loss tablet to be cleared for use in Australia.
The TGA is yet to review the packaging and production processes to confirm the pill meets standards before release.
