Asian Games: Sibol bags Honor of Kings bronze, falls to powerhouse China in semis - GMA Network

Sibol, the country’s national esports team, secured its second medal at the 2026 Asian Games after the Honor of Kings squad settled for bronze on Monday at Aichi Sky Expo Hall D in Japan.

The Filipinos earned the podium finish despite falling to powerhouse China, 0-2, in the semifinals. The Honor of Kings squad, which emerged second in Group B and ousted South Korea in the quarterfinals, delivered the country's second esports medal after Sibol's Pokemon UNITE captured a bronze in the event.

Sibol’s Honor of Kings roster is made up of the core of the now-defunct Blacklist International, which previously represented the Philippines in several international tournaments, including the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4 last February.

The team is composed of Golden and Dragon Dajao, Justine Tan, Charles Esguerra, and Chammy Nazarrea with head coach Gerald Gelacio leading the squad.
