The Prime Minister revealed that the Budget Bureau is preparing the budget for the first phase of the solar power project for one million households. He has tasked the Ministry of Commerce with studying ways to protect the interests of Thai entrepreneurs following reports of cyberattacks on refrigerated product containers overseas.

At 11:10 a.m. on 3 November 2026, at the Mondathip International Convention Hall, Mueang District, Udon Thani Province, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, spoke about the solar power project for households after the Cabinet meeting on 27 October approved it. The Provincial Electricity Authority and the Metropolitan Electricity Authority have been carrying out various procedures and, with financial support of 50,000 baht per household from the Ministry of Finance, the Budget Bureau has prepared the first phase budget for one million households. In today's Cabinet meeting, no special orders were issued.

Anutin also addressed reports of cyberattacks on refrigerated product containers abroad, informing the Cabinet. Various Thai agencies, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Yossanan Wongsawat, whose ministry involves technology use, and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, are responsible for preventing hacking or cyber disruptions to Thai agencies. He expressed confidence that the Royal Thai Police and the Technology Crime Suppression Division are monitoring the situation. He described the news as a new and unexpected development. Regarding Thailand, he has assigned the Ministry of Commerce to investigate whether this issue is real, as Thailand is the origin country for these exports. Therefore, payment credit terms must be carefully written, and consideration given to insurance to protect Thai manufacturers and traders.
