'Africa' hitmaker Toto returns to Manila for 50th anniversary tour
MANILA, Philippines — Legendary rock band Toto has included a Philippine return for its ongoing "Dogs of Oz" world tour, just in time to celebrate its golden anniversary.
Show promoter Ovation Productions confirmed that Toto will be performing at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on March 29, 2027. The band will hold another show the following day, March 30, at the Cebu Seaside Arena.
The former venue was where the band performed its most recent visit last May 2025, which marked Toto's first Philippine performance in almost two decades.
The upcoming Philippine shows will feature original members Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams alongside touring members Warren Ham, Keith Carlock, John Pierce, Dennis Atlas, and Rai Thistlethwayte.
"Philippines, get ready to be part of a historic celebration as the legendary band Toto marks 50 years of timeless music, unforgettable hits, and rock ‘n’ roll greatness!" said Ovation.
The promoter also announced that tickets to both Philippine shows will be available via the SM Ticketmaster website on November 16.
Toto is best known for classic hits like "Africa," "Rosanna," "Hold the Line," "I'll Be Over You," "Lea," "I Won't Hold You Back," and "Georgy Porgy."
The band has six Grammy awards, including Album of the Year for "Toto IV" and Record of the Year for "Rosanna."
