Mahatma Gandhi was a lawyer and one of the prominent figures in the freedom movement against British rule. He was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar.
He had led many inspiring and revolutionary movements, including the Non-Cooperation Movement, the Dandi March (Salt Satyagraha), and the Quit India Movement. He was assassinated on January 30, 1948, in Delhi.
