60 Regional Heads Attend Tangsel Expo, Drivers Urged to Avoid Benda-Marunga Road

TANGERANG SELATAN - Sixty regional heads attended the Tangsel Expo at the Tangerang Selatan City Government Office (Puspemkot) in Banten on Monday (9/21/2026).

Drivers are advised to avoid the Puspemkot Tangerang Selatan area due to potential traffic congestion.

"If possible, avoid the road toward Puspem because 60 regional heads will be attending," said Tangerang Selatan Transportation Agency Head Ayep Jajat Sudrajat in a WhatsApp message to Kompas.com on Monday morning.

The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. WIB.

The main roads to be avoided by drivers include Jalan Benda Raya and Jalan Maruga Raya.

These two roads are expected to experience increased traffic volume during the event.

When asked about alternative routes, Ayep had not provided a response.

Therefore, drivers are urged to depart earlier, follow instructions from officers on-site, and avoid parking vehicles arbitrarily near the event area.

The Tangsel Expo is part of the series of events for the Signing of the Mutual Agreement Between Regions and the Cooperation Agreement on the Replication of the Geospatial Information System Integration for Land and Tax (SISGITA).

The Expo will be held over two days, from September 21-22, 2026, at the plaza of Puspemkot Tangsel.

This event also serves as a platform to showcase various regional potentials to the local governments participating in the cooperation agenda.

The Tangsel Expo will feature exhibitions of MSMEs, orchids, and other leading products. The presence of this exhibition is expected to foster interaction among the government, entrepreneurs, communities, and the public.
